The summer vacation has just begun andmany students' exhibitions were held in July.
Visitors from many countries and many cities came and the gallery was
full of energy.
The art events in all our WEST gallery spaces made us forget
the heat of summer with their fantastic art!

We had a great June here at Design Festa Galleryincluding DESIGN FESTA PLANET.13 Global Fever Relapse!There were many artists from overseas communicating withJapanese artists and visitors.All artists surprised us by their unique sensibilty.In addition, we were so excited about performances, dance,Music live and Comedy live.Also at night, lots of visitors were gathering and cheering for theWorld Cup!Please visit this page and check July program!

Design Festa vol.31 was a great success in May.Design Festa Gallery Harajuku had many kinds of exhibitions as the event did.A lot of people from all over the world came to the gallery to exhibit or feel art.It was so impressive to see them communicating through art.The past exhibition is here. Monthly Report for March!
It was getting warmer in March andthe gallery was full of the smell of flowers and student graduation
exhibitions!
Some artists sold their original accessories and
we hope you enjoyed not only "seeing" the work but also "buying" it.
Many people from all over the world came to the gallery everyday in this
month!!
Some artists from Australia, the United States and so on...had wonderful
exhibitions and
it really was "INTERNATIONAL!!"

June 19 (sat) ～ 25 (fri), 2010Two years ago Design Festa Gallery came down with a severe case of Global Fever. Symptoms included exhibitions by international artists from Korea, Austria, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Japan, as well as international food and drink.

The tickle in the back of our throat is back! So in the spirit of international artistry and the upcoming World Cup, DFG has once again contracted another case of Global Fever! From June 19th through 25th, we invite international artistsof all genres to fill our galleries with all manner of original art, performance, gastronomy and more! Come one, come all, and catch the fever – it'll be good for you!

Monthly Report for February!
Last February, there were various exhibitions from all over the world!Many artists from Korea, Philippin, Australia exhibited at Design Festa Gallery Harajuku.In this month we saw lots of movie work and installation.One of the student's group was designing the space and DJ was playing the music,Dancer had great unique performance.It was Fantastic space!We were wondering where we are.Of course you also enjoyed the cool Design Festa Gallery!

Design・ Festa・Planet 12 will feature the world famous Japanese word "KAWAII" on Apr.10th(sat.)-16th(fri.)!! Yes! the "KAWAII" will be flowering at Design・Festa・Gallery・Harajuku in the perfect season again!! Named "KAWAII Exhibition 2"! "KAWAII" is not easy to translate to other languages..."Cute"?, very close, but not Bingo! Whatever when you feel something makes you little happy, it could be a "KAWAII". So, why don't you show your "KAWAII" works at Design・Festa・GALLERY・Harajuku?

Monthly Report for January!
Design Festa Gallery had great exhibitions in the beginning of 2010! Many photo freaks came to the photo event held at all spaces in EAST!! People enjoyed the photo seminar, new camera exhibition, workshop and so on.
"CREATIVE LIVE!!", Design Festa Gallery Harajuku project, was held in last January and it was exactly "LIVE!!" Live painting, live performance, dance, workshop... those were all we could see and feel at once in "CREATIVE LIVE!!"

Monthly Report for December!
Last December, there were various fashion and sundries exhibitions!
Of course, there were lots of painting, too!!
Lately we saw many artists who are painting,illustration and sundries.
It is very interesting to see diversity of these artists.
It was Xmas time so we saw many work about Xmas, also a unique workshop of New Year's day cards!

We had a great November here at Design Festa Gallery including DESIGN FESTA PLANET.10 a fabulously freaky Harajuku Chimerical Circus featuring some truly weird fringe art climaxing with a well attended party which saw strangest performance troupe!In addition many visitors stopped by to check out great some fantastic photography from Melbourne students and Japanese Wa style exhibition by French artists living in Japan!Please visit this page!Check December program!
